Planning In Advance (return to top)
Make sure you plan in advance for your event and place your order early. By placing your order early,  you will avoid unnecessary expedited shipping costs.


How we ship (return to top)
We ship via UPS for most US domestic orders and USPS for lightweight domestic orders and international orders.


When do we ship out your order?

Once your order is placed, it is sent to our warehouse to be processed and usually takes 1-2 business days (Monday to Friday only) to be processed.  Weekends and holidays do not count as processing days.

This 1-2 business day turnaround time is used for us to verify your order, pick your items, and prepare your order for shipment.  If an item is out of stock you will be notified immediately.


When can I expect my package? (return to top)
When your order has been processed it is sent to our shipping department. Once there, it will be shipped via the method you selected at checkout. After the package is shipped you will receive an email with your UPS or Express Mail tracking number*

*Tracking numbers take up to 12 hours to be active in UPS and USPS tracking systems

All other USPS orders will receive a shipped notification via email with a delivery confirmation number.

Rush Orders (return to top)
Same day shipping is available, however a rush fee will apply. To have your order rushed you must call us to make arrangements.

If you need your order by a specific date or are unsure of when you will receive the package or which shipping method to choose, please call one of our representatives to assist you. This will guarantee that will receive your package in time.

Out of Stock Items (return to top)
We stock all of our items, but occasionally run out of certain sizes. When we run out of a size, it is placed on order and is expected to be back in stock shortly. We will notify you immediately when an ordered item is out of stock.

Clearance Items (return to top)
When an item is on clearance, the life cycle of the product has ended. We have reduced the price so we can make way for new items. Unfortunately when it comes to clearance items we do run out of sizes and style quickly.

SHIPPING EXAMPLES (for US delivery only) (return to top)

EXAMPLE 1

Jen orders Wednesday and picks ground shipping to her house in Seattle (transit from our warehouse takes 5 business days NOT including the day it was shipped). Her order will be processed on Thursday and shipped out on Friday. Jen will receive her package the following Friday due to UPS’s transit time (see map below) and our processing time. Saturday and Sunday do not count as business days.

EXAMPLE 2

Laura orders Friday and selects ground shipping to her house in Las Vegas (transit from our warehouse to Las Vegas is 5 business days NOT including the day it was shipped). Since Monday is a holiday, the order will be processed on Tuesday and shipped out on Wednesday. Laura will receive it the following Wednesday due to UPS’s transit time (see map below) and our processing time. In this example, Saturday, Sunday and Monday (the holiday) do not count as business days.

International Shipping (return to top)
We do not guarantee any international shipment’s date of arrival because of customs and package examination by the government. Typically, this may delay arrival of packages by a few days. Please plan for this extended delay and plan in advance.


IMPORTANT (Brokerage, Duties and Taxes)
  • Shipping rates do not include customs clearance cost
  • Brokerage charges, duties, and taxes are not included and will be your responsibility when package is delivered or picked up.
  • Shipping times listed below do not include DressKids.com order processing time

USPS Global Express Mail - Delivery time 3-5 business days

UPS Canada Standard - Available for all addresses in the 10 Canadian provinces. Delivery time 7-10 Business Days.

UPS Worldwide Expedited - Most shipments to Canada and Mexico are delivered within three business days. Most shipments to major destinations in Europe and Asia are delivered within four business days.

UPS Worldwide Express - Guaranteed next day delivery by 10:30 a.m. to major metropolitan areas in Canada, and by the end of the business day to most other Canadian destinations.

Guaranteed second day delivery by 10:30 a.m. to major business centers in more than 700 cities across Europe, and by end of day to most other destinations.

UPS Worldwide Express Plus - Guaranteed door-to-door and customs-cleared delivery of your package by 8:30 a.m. on the second business day
